Renewal of Registration as Dealer in Jewellery
A Certificate of Registration issued to a dealer is valid for a period not exceeding 3 years. Upon expiry of his Certificate of Registration, the dealer should make an application for renewal at least 10 clear days before the expiry date.
The dealer should produce the following documents to the Assay Office:

| 2. Certificate of Character not more than 3 months old as from the date of expiry of registration. | 2. Receipt of Annual Registration fee paid to Registrar of Companies or Certificate of current standing from Registrar of Companies; and |
| 3. Certificate of Character of all Directors, Shareholders and Beneficial Owners not more than 3 months old as from the date of expiry of registration. |
Note: An application made
within 10 clear days after expiry of registration will attract a
surcharge of 25 percent of the renewal fee.
